Zach brings more than 20 years of lending experience to Distilled Systems — the first decade spent in credit underwriting across Home Equity, Mortgage, Small Business, and Commercial Lending, where he underwrote over $1 billion in credit. He then moved into lending technology managing complex decisioning logic, building agile-aligned QA automation, and helping lead three separate LOS implementations — including two on nCino. Having seen the failures of both in-house development teams and outside vendors from the inside, he built the Distilled Build Method around a single conviction: the people who know the business best should be the ones building for it.
